Doctor Gave Me An A+
Hi Everyone!
Just wanted to give a quick update on my health status. Mommy and mommy L took me to the doctor yesterday. Here are some notable moments and memories:
- i was the only kitty at the vet who had a highly fashionable pink crate. i could tell the other kitties were jealous, as their crates were puke green and tan.
- spending 30 minutes in the waiting room was way more than i needed to confirm the fact that dogs are stupid. they breathe so heavily and slobber so much, it’s disgusting. have you ever seen a cat behave like that? i don’t think so.
- we got into the exam room and i was immediately released from captivity. two strange ladies started putting their hands all over me, in ways i had not given them permission to. they seemed confident, but i would have preferred an introduction before they got so personal.
- the older of the two ladies was really checking me out…squeezing and poking and pulling and looking at my whole body. she even pried open my mouth to look inside! wtf?! i tried to push her fingers out of my mouth with my tongue, but no dice.
- one lady put me in a little basket thing and then said “9” out loud. then the other lady said “that’s the perfect weight for her frame, that’s great.” i looked at mommy to gauge her reaction and she looked so proud!
- the older lady told mommy to schedule a teeth cleaning for me. that was the only thing she said mommy needed to do, which apparently was a good thing.
Overall, going to the doctor was a confusing experience. Between the poking and prodding and the scratching and petting, it was a strange mix of pain and pleasure. I’d like to thank everyone for their concern and support during this trying time, it means a lot to me.
