Vet Visit and Temporary Housing
Mommy took me to the vet again today. Unfortunately I’m not responding to the antibiotics I’ve been getting for 11 days. In fact, the doctor thinks my chin and mouth have become more swollen. Suspicion now is that I have an aggressive bone cancer. Mommy and I were very upset to hear this. The hope is that I can hang around for a while more with the help of some anti-inflammatory pain medication and some TLC…for as long as the swelling/discomfort doesn’t interfere with my eating and quality of life.
For the next week I’m staying at mommy Lauren’s house because favorite mommy is going on a business trip to Portland (bad timing). It’s strange being in a new place but I think I’ll be happier here because I will get a lot more attention and company during favorite mommy’s absence. If anyone wants to come visit me here, please contact mommy Lauren to make arrangements. I sure do love visitors.
