Savoring It
One week ago today, mommy took me to the vet. I wasn’t feeling great, so mommy was afraid of what the vet would say. Long story short, the vet told mommy she thought I could have one or two weeks left of quality time…if properly medicated.
So it’s been a week and I’m hanging in there. I’ve actually had much more of an appetite and have been eating a nice portion of kibbies each day. Mommy always congratulates me when she gets home and sees I’ve eaten a good amount, which is a great incentive to keep doing it.
My condition could change at any time, so mommy is keeping a close eye on me to make sure I’m a comfortable and happy kitty. Once I let her know I’m unhappy and have had enough, she will take me back to the vet and then they will send me directly to kitty heaven. Which brings me to my next topic…things that I’m sure will be in kitty heaven (in no particular order):
- a mountain of kibbies
- a human dedicated to petting me whenever I eat the mountain of kibbies
- tons of shiny and sparkly strings and ribbons and shoelaces
- thick fleece blankets with heating pads in them
- a big green field of grass. i love grass.
- top-quality pets, whenever i want them, from whomever i want them, for as long as i want them
- a nice warm human to sleep on or next to every night
- a GIANT litter box, like the size of a football field, full of fresh litter at all times.
